I love Emmy Rossum's voice, but even hearing her sing my nation's anthem couldn't make me proud to be an American I think. 
I'd rather be Irish or British. Then, I could be related, at least nationality wise, to Benedict Cumberbatch or the women behind Celtic Woman, and indirectly related to Robert Carlyle, who is a proud Scottsman in its truest sense.
